Refund Policy

This policy governs all payments made to BlueChip People Strategies for advisory sessions, workshops, assessments, and related services. By completing payment, you agree to the terms of this policy.
We maintain a restrictive refund policy by design. Our time is allocated to each engagement at the point of booking or agreement — not at the point of delivery. Refunds are the exception, not the default.
1. One-Off Advisory Sessions (HR/Coaching Clarity/Employer & Employee Calls)
No refunds are issued for one-off advisory sessions once payment has been made.
This applies regardless of:
How far in advance the session is scheduled
Whether the session has taken place
Whether you cancel or reschedule before the session date
Rescheduling: You may reschedule a booked session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no charge, subject to availability. Rescheduling does not entitle you to a refund if you later choose not to proceed.
No-shows: Sessions missed without prior notice are forfeited. No credit or rescheduling is offered for no-shows.
Exception: A refund may be considered only if BlueChip People Strategies cancels the session and is unable to offer an alternative time within 14 days. In that case, a full refund will be issued.
2. Advisory Call Bundles (3-Pack and 5-Pack)
Bundle payments are non-refundable once made.
Unused sessions in a bundle do not expire and may be used at any future time
Unused sessions are not redeemable for cash or credit
Bundles are non-transferable to other individuals or organizations without prior written approval
3. HR Advisory Retainers
Retainer fees are non-refundable.
Monthly retainer fees are billed in advance and are not refundable for any portion of the billing period, whether or not the full allotment of hours is used
Unused hours roll over in accordance with the terms of your Service Schedule — they are not redeemable for cash or credit
Early termination of a retainer agreement does not entitle the client to a refund of fees already paid
Termination notice requirements are governed by your signed Service Schedule
4. Workshops and Training
Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances.
Balance payments: Due prior to delivery. If you cancel more than 30 days before the workshop date, your balance payment is not required, though your deposit is forfeited. Cancellations made 15–30 days before delivery require 50% of the remaining balance, with the deposit forfeited. Cancellations within 14 days of delivery require the full balance with no refund issued.
Rescheduling: Available at no additional cost, provided a minimum of 30 days' notice is given and the new date is subject to availability.
Force majeure: If BlueChip People Strategies is unable to deliver a workshop due to circumstances outside our control, we will offer to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund will be considered at our discretion.
5. Assessments and Diagnostics
Assessment and diagnostic engagements are scoped and invoiced individually. Once a Statement of Work or Service Schedule is signed and payment is received:
No refund is available if work has commenced
If work has not commenced and you cancel within 48 hours of signing, a full refund will be issued
Cancellations after 48 hours of signing but before work commences are subject to a 25% administration fee
6. Workplace Investigations
Investigation retainers and hourly fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. Given the nature of investigation work, partial completion does not entitle the client to a proportional refund.
If BlueChip People Strategies must withdraw from an investigation due to a conflict of interest identified after work commences, fees for work completed to that point are owing and non-refundable.
7. Speaking Engagements
Speaking fees and deposits are non-refundable once confirmed in writing.
Cancellations more than 60 days before the event: deposit forfeited, no further amount owing
Cancellations 30–60 days before the event: 50% of the full fee is owing
Cancellations fewer than 30 days before the event: full fee is owing
8. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with your financial institution. Most concerns can be resolved quickly.
Unauthorized chargebacks on payments covered by this policy will be contested. Clients who initiate chargebacks in contradiction of this policy may be restricted from future bookings.

9. How to Request a Refund
For situations where a refund may apply under this policy, submit your request in writing to:

Include your name, the service purchased, date of payment, and reason for the request. We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days and returned to the original payment method.
10. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your payment governs your engagement. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
